Ryan Bennett CUTTING Down Time In Production!

Lean Meeting #2 featured our Interior Department. Presenting was Ryan Bennett. In attendance were Ryan & Adam G.

Their initiative included Ryan building a two piece jig for a new table saw that was delivered over the Christmas/New Year Holidays!

There were two MAJOR plusses, or benefits:

This will save roughly 10 minutes/job (based on size of job)

This will keep hands further away from the sawblade, so there’s a SAFETY element to it as well.

Time will be saved in not having to re-establish proper height for each job using a taped application. This will also save on TAPE!

It took Ryan about an hour to come up with this initiative and roughly 5-10 minutes to make the jig!
